| My father was an amazing photographer with very high standards. That is why I followed his footsteps in the 70s as a teenager to learn his trade. His studio was a block from Boston Symphony Hall and the Theater District. He would provide the glossy portrait images for the guest performers. When I was 12 years of age and was given my first professional camera, my father insisted that I know each moving part of the camera in the dark prior to using film. So for weeks I would train on 4x5 (negative size) Graphic Cameras until I was able to identify and operate the parts of the camera without looking at them. My father never let me use a 35 mm camera since it was mostly an 'automatic' camera and did not rely on the photographers' input. I now use top-of-the-line digital technology. I continued my studies in photography at the Art Institute of Boston.

| As I use my skills encouraged by my father, my goal is to bring you a perfect memory in time of your family portrait or wedding while you are in Fort Myers and the surrounding Islands. I'll only produce photography that meets my own standards as a photographer and artist. I shoot, hoping you will be delighted by each photograph as it reveals the calm charisma of your special time that you spend on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. |
